School Advisory Council (SAC)


The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a team of people representing various segments of the community–parents, teachers, students, administrators, support staff, business/ industry people and other interested community members. The purpose of a SAC is to assist in the preparation and evaluation (developing and evaluating) of the results of the school improvement plan and to assist the principal with the annual school budget.

 

School Advisory Committee meetings are scheduled on the 2nd Thursday of the month, exact dates are posted on our calendar.  All meetings are open to the public.  Agenda items must be submitted no later than 7 days in advance, to the committee chair, Kristen Rossheim.

ISTC-PTO meets the first Monday of every month @ 6:15pm in the school cafeteria. All PTO meetings are open to families with students at ISTC. Dinner provided for ISTC students.  Agenda items need one week notice. Contact your ISTC PTO representative below:

President

Serves as principal executive officer of the organization. Supervises and controls activities of the organization.

 Presides and participates in all executive and membership meeting.

Vice President

 Acts as aide to the president and performs the president duties in the absence or inability of the president.

 Performs other delegated duties as assigned. Acts as the  coordinator of volunteers and committee chairs.

Secretary

Keeps the minutes of the proceedings of the membership and executive committee.

 Conducts delegated correspondence and performs other assigned duties.

Treasurer

Has charge and is responsible for all funds of the organization. Reports account balance at membership or monthly meetings.

 Performs delegated duties as assigned.
Time Keeper

Ensures meetings are run on time with minimal disruptions. Performs delegated duties as assigned.
